ISDE Portugal 2026 | Day 1 Highlights & Results

Racing is underway in Portugal! The 100th Edition of the International Six Days of Enduro officially kicked off at 8am local time in Grandola, Portugal and we have seen lots of action already. Conditions are very dry this year and all tests are complete silt-fests making visibility quite challenging. Here's what went down:

Mojo/SXS Club Team & other Club news

Heartbreak has already set in for our main Mojo/SXS Club Team, with rider Tanner Whipple's Beta 300 unable to start this morning. The woodruff key on his flywheel broke in half about half a mile away from the start, rendering him unable to ride today and already eliminates our teams chance for podium and medals. He will be able to race the rest of the week, but he will start tomorrow as the very last rider.

That said, still some great riding from our other two members! NorCal and our very own Anthony Ferrante has already found his fire aboard his Husqvarna 350 finishing Day 1 as the 4th fastest Club rider in the world, and even winning Test 3 in the overall Club classification! Huge momentum to kick off the week! He is also 2nd in the C2 class.

The other member of our club team Nathan Ferderer also is having a great start, finishing the day 35th fastest Club rider on the day with his Yamaha 125. His best time was in Test 1 with a 23rd fastest time.

Moving on from our club team, we have another NorCal favorite in Anson Maloney having a killer day as well as the 8th fastest Club rider, only four positions and about 56 seconds behind Anthony! His best time comes from the final 6th Test of the day, scoring the 5th fastest spot. He and the Missouri Mudders club team are currently 3rd in the Club Teams category. Anson is 4th in the C2 class.

The last NorCal native is Maverick Allaway in his first 6Days (and the youngest American rider ever at 16 years old!), with a stellar start to the week sitting in 28th overall! He is 13th in the C1 class, and his Randy Mastin Memorial club team is currently 9th with his leading the charge. His best time of the day was the final 6th test of the day with 29th best.

Conclusion

Now that Day 1 is over, the faster riders will start up front and not have to make so many passes, meaning the dust should be a little more spread out and make for faster racing for everyone. While the Mojo/SXS Club Team has already been taking out of the team contention, our NorCal boys are showing crazy speed and we can't wait to see how the rest of the week goes!
