MrWolf’s MousseBalls 2.0 Lunar represent the next step in anti-puncture technology. They are the link between the versatility of an inner tube and the safety and performance of a traditional mousse. Thanks to the innovative and patented modular structure, every rider can fully customize wheel hardness according to terrain conditions and personal preferences, without renouncing the reliability and feeling of a mousse. With Lunar, this concept goes even further: the new self-lubricating compound allows the mousse to be mounted straight out of the box, without grease or gels, making installation faster, cleaner and more user-friendly.

Designed for both amateurs and PRO riders, MousseBalls 2.0 Lunar guarantee an extended lifespan and the possibility to regenerate the set over time by using the two additional “balls” included in the package. PRO riders benefit from a mousse that delivers top-level performance from the very first minute, in any terrain and under any condition. Thanks to the patented sector structure and the higher surface-to-volume ratio, operating temperatures can drop up to 33%. The complete absence of vibrations reduces hysteresis, preventing overheating and further increasing riding feel and control. MousseBalls 2.0 Lunar have been tested and proven in every environment: from Motocross to Enduro, from Rally Raid to Baja, and even Maxi-Enduro adventures.

SELF-LUBRIFICATED

Lunar introduces a brand-new self-lubricating elastomer compound, a world’s first in mousse technology. Riders no longer need to apply silicone grease before installation: the mousse itself maintains low friction during use. This means faster assembly, no mess, and constant performance without the risk of incorrect lubrication. A small revolution that turns the mousse into a truly “plug & play” solution.

Thanks to MousseBalls you can easily adapt the behavior of your tire depending on the type of use, the tire model, and the terrain conditions. For example, you can choose a softer setup by removing a few balls for better grip in extreme enduro, insert all the balls for a firmer configuration ideal in fast desert stages, or use an intermediate number for a balanced setup in mixed trail riding. This flexibility makes it simple to customize your setup for every situation.

Fitting Instructions

The package include:

  • A complete set of MousseBalls of the chosen size
  • Assembly instructions
  • A silicone lubricant kit
  • A rim sticker kit + a MrWolf sticker

Lubricate each Ball individually using the supplied grease

Warning: Lubricate also the lateral surfaces of the Balls 

Insert the Balls inside the tire

Warning: Keep the arrow oriented towards the rim

In intermediate configurations it will be normal to have empty spaces between one insert and another (about 1-2 cm / 0,4-0,7 inch)

Arrange the Balls evenly so as to have equal spaces along the entire circumference

Warining: the Balls will swell by more than 30% during use by zeroing the space between one insert and another

If you wish to have a more sustained configuration (eg for Rallies), compress the Balls against each other

Add one or two extra Balls

Then proceed with fitting the tire

Warning: Rim Lock must be at the centre of a Ball
