Description

Ride Engineering was the first company to offer a way to mount the Showa steering stabilizer onto Kawasakis, Yamahas, Suzukis, KTMs, Husqvarnas and GasGas models. This MX style damper was originally developed by Ricky Carmichael in his days as a factory Honda rider and became a production part on 2008-2016 CRF450r and x models.

Many top level national pros have used one including Ryan Dungey and Jason Anderson. It's also a great choice for GNCC, trail and enduro riders that want a less restrictive, easily installed device. Showa damper (four options) or the WP damper is sold separately. This simple bolt-on bracket is available for the 2024 KX450 and older model KXFs complete with mounting instructions.

Note:
1) This kit is designed to work in conjunction with all Ride Eng. KX triple clamps.

2) Ignition box must be relocated under the left radiator shroud (2008-2020) models only.

3) There is no place to relocate the ignition on 2019-2023 kx450, 2021-2024 kx250
