Brake Pedal Plate 3-Way Adjustable
This Pedal is the same width as the stock 4 stroke pedal but longer.
The 2 stroke models come with a narrower pedal. It is 3 way adjustable, with a larger outer radius, which tends to "sled" along obstacles, or the ground rather than snag and bend the pedal arm. The longer length allows for a larger inside opening, allowing mud or snow to pass through. Roomy pedal allow you to "move around" on the pegs like a Trials rider.... An "outer foot locate" on each peg, giving you more leverage with the pegs to move the bike around under you, in a standing position.
The idea being you can practice this slow speed style for use in rocky ,technical terrain. This leverage also keeps the bike stable, while holding the bars loosely, lightly.
And another thought... Try riding on the Balls of your feet, forward slightly of the ach. This gives you motion and control in your ankle joint. Riding in your ankle joint helps to Transmit your weight into the rear suspension and tire, in a whole new way. All the while it is a much softer ride.... REALLY...If needed adjust the pedal position to the shorter "locate", so your toe still has the pedal covered.
