4 – STROKES: Twin Air PowerFlow kit for 4-Stroke models: Replace your air-restricting stock backfire screen with our New PowerFlow kit. The kit includes a rigid, lightweight, billet aluminum cage with a special backfire-resistant layer of foam laminated to the inside of the filter.
- The 2024 KX 450/X OE airbox and filter design is lacking in sealing and air flow
- The stock cassette style cage/filter does not seal very well and is susceptible to sucking dirt into the intake/engine which can cause catastrophic engine damage
- The Twin Air PowerFlow kit greatly improves the filter sealing issue that the OEM filter/cage has, while increasing the air flow by replacing the flat restrictive stock filter design with a larger domed style filter to increase air flow
- The Twin Air PowerFlow kit includes a Glass Fiber Composite Cage, Base plate, and Pre-Oiled Air Filter (FR).
